This surely generated suspicion within me, that this might be another people pleasing book trying to trick people into thinking good about themselves. Thats what the title sounds like. Right? But ignoring all the shitty marketing strategies and choas, hype created by people about the greatness of this book, and how it literally changed their lives, it is actually not that horrible. Arrival - 2016 Directed by - Denis Villeneuve   Arrival is smart, serious and diligently crafted movie which should be considered as an art, even though it is a science fiction film, dealing with strange aliens. It might be the director's one of the top ranked work, Denis Villeneuve who gave us many exceptional movies before like, Prisoners , Sicario , Incendies , Enemy , and in future goes on to direct sequel to Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Blade Runner and David Lynch's Dune . These are sharp movies, and by sharp I mean, these movies have been crafted and put onto the screen as the the makers created them in their own imagination.  It is more than a science fiction which deals with many puissant and heavy subjects and at the same time maintains the underlying gentle, warm and humanistic tone.
